Stretching Art and Tradition 18: Dreaming of Water: Cool, Clear, Abundant Water

Artist: Claire Alexander, SAQA

Hearing about drought and forest fires and about water wells contaminated from fracking led me to dream of pure and plentiful water. I oversized the drops to convey abundance. The challenge is the construction as I prefer piecing to applique, but the drops present an odd shape.
